This is an original Art Deco bronze sculpture of a grazing antelope and doe standing in a landscape.  The artwork was sculpted by G.H. Laurent and cast in the 1930's expressly for Etling Paris.  Style of the Art Deco period is very evident in the artist's use of geometric lines in the landscape and the sleek bodies of the animals.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.

Antelope and Doe features a wonderful finish with patinated animals, polished landscape lines and 12 karat gold leaf on the base.  The sculpture is mounted onto an original veined marble base of the period, and stands 13½" high by 21" wide.  It is signed by the artist in the bronze and stamped with the "Eitling Paris" mark.

This is a fine bronze sculpture, made to the highest standards.  We guarantee your satisfaction.
