This bronze depiction of a lithe, stalking panther is done in high Art Deco style. While the artist is unknown, it was undoubtedly sculpted in France in the 1930s. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast this big cat in our own California art foundry using 18 lbs. (8 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a lustrous black patina with subtle amber highlights. Mounted onto a black marble base, it stands 6½" high by 21" wide (16 cm high x 53 cm wide). Each sculpture is individually stamped with its unique number in an edition limited to just 100 castings.
