This lovely bronze vase is characteristic of the gorgeous lines of the Art Nouveau period in France. It depicts a lovely maiden whose hair sweeps around the vase, turning into stems and flowers as it goes. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast the Art Nouveau Vase in our California art foundry using 14 lbs. (6 kg) of pure bronze. The vase is finished with a rich, lustrous patina in tones of brown and amber. It stands 13½" tall by 6" wide (34 cm high x 15 cm wide). The vase is signed "E Gregoire 1909" in the bronze.
