The sculpture is marked with the words "cire perdue" on its base along with the Dalou signature and Susse Frères foundry seal.  The underside has been stamped with the numbers "2011 33" indicating that this sculpture may have been in a museum collection at one time.

The sculpture stands 7¾" high by 3½" wide (20 cm high x 9 cm wide).  Condition is very good, with some rubbing off of the dark patina in some areas, consistent with its age.
