This heroic bronze of a French cavalry officer from the second half of the 19th century was sculpted by Mathilde Thomas-Soyer circa 1890. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast Carabinier in our own California art foundry using the finest pure bronze. This detailed sculpture is finished with a traditional patina in tones of browns and black. Mounted onto a marble base, it stands an impressive 24" high by 22" wide. The sculpture is signed "Math Thomas" in its bronze base.
