Dog's Best Friend is a charming sculpture by Demetre Chiparus (Romanian/French, 1886-1947) depicting a young lady taping the paw of her injured canine friend. We have cast Dog's Best Friend in our own California art foundry using the finest pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a beautiful patina in tones of browns, amber and crimson. Mounted onto a marble base, it stands 11½" high by 20" wide by 8" deep. The sculpture is signed "D.H. CHIPARUS" in its bronze base.
