This highly realistic depiction of fighting stags was sculpted by famed animalier artist Clovis Edmund Masson (French, 1838-1913). Please click on the thumbnail images above to see all of the beautiful detail.
We have cast Fighting Stags in our own California art foundry using 33 lbs. (15 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a classic patina in tones of browns and amber, with added green patina atop the bronze base. Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands 12" high by 21" wide (30 cm high x 53 cm wide). The sculpture is signed by the artist in its bronze base.
