This regal bronze of President George Washington was originally sculpted by famed French artist Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1785. As a lifemask, it was cast directly from Washington's face. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast General Washington in our own California art foundry using the finest pure bronze. Mounted onto a marble base, it stands 23" high by 14" wide. The sculpture is signed "Houdon F 1785" in the bronze.
