This classic equestrian sculpture by John Willis Good (British, 1845-1879) depicts a confident jockey sitting in the saddle as a groom leads the racehorse.  The technique reflects the moderate stylization seen in Good's most sought-after bronzes.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views of this detailed sculpture.

We have cast Jockey and Groom in our own California art foundry using 22 lbs. (10 kg) of pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a traditional dark brown patina.  Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands 13" (33 cm) high.  The sculpture is signed "J. Willis Good" in its bronze base.

This is a fine bronze sculpture, made to high standards.  We guarantee your satisfaction.
