This classic equestrian sculpture by John Willis Good (British, 1845-1879) depicts a confident jockey sitting in the saddle as a groom leads the racehorse. We have cast Jockey and Groom in our own California art foundry using 22 lbs. (10 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a traditional dark brown patina. Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands 13" (33 cm) high. The sculpture is signed "J. Willis Good" in its bronze base.
