This handsome scene of a jockey astride a racehorse was sculpted by Emmanuel Fremiet (French, 1824-1910). Please click on the thumbnail images above to see all of its terrific detail.
We have cast Jockey on Horse in our own California art foundry using over 25 lbs. (11 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a rich patina in tones of chestnut brown and amber. Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands 18½" tall by 17" wide (47 cm high by 43 cm wide), and is signed "E FREMIET" in its bronze base.
This is a fine equestrian sculpture, made to high standards. It will endure to be enjoyed by many generations to come. We guarantee your satisfaction.
