"John Wayne, Cowboy" by Jesse Corsaut

 

We are proud to offer this extraordinary bronze statue of John Wayne by noted California artist Jesse Corsaut (b. 1929).

 

The sculpture depicts Wayne as a frontier rifleman keeping an eye out for trouble. This artwork completely captures the timeless nobility of the "Duke" to the extent that it had a permanent place in Ronald Reagan's White House.  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views.

We have cast John Wayne, Cowboy in our own California art foundry using 36 lbs. (16 kg) of pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a traditional patina in tones of browns.  Mounted onto a stained oak wood base, it stands a substantial 32" tall by 15" wide (81 cm high x 38 cm wide).  Each sculpture is individually numbered as part of a limited edition of just 100 castings, and bears the artist's signature "CORSAUT" in its bronze base.
