We are proud to offer this extraordinary bronze statue of John Wayne by noted California artist Jesse Corsaut (b. 1929). The sculpture depicts the "Duke" in his U.S. Army trooper uniform, carrying a six-shooter and a saber, gazing out over the horizon. It is a superb portrayal of the legendary actor, and was proudly displayed in Ronald Reagan's White House for eight years. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast John Wayne, Trooper in our own California art foundry using 64 lbs. (29 kg) of the finest pure bronze. The sculpture is finished in a traditional patina in tones of brown and amber. Mounted onto a custom black marble base, it stands a substantial 32" tall x 15" wide (81 cm high x 38 cm wide). Each sculpture is individually numbered as part of a limited edition of just 100 castings, and bears the artist's signature "CORSAUT" in its bronze base.
