"Lady of Justice" by Nicolas Mayer

 

This bronze statue of a blindfolded goddess Themis holding the scales of justice has come to represent equal justice before the law, and is a popular item with attorneys and others in the justice field. 

Our casting of Lady of Justice is particularly fine.  It has been cast of 21 lbs. (9.5 kg) of pure bronze in our own California art foundry.  We have finished the sculpture with a rich patina in tones of brown and amber, with ivory whites on the dress of Themis.  The sculpture has great detail; her scales are even operable!  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see more of the beauty of this sculpture.

Lady of Justice is mounted onto a black marble base, stands 24" (61 cm) high, and is signed "A. Meyer" in the bronze base.
