"Lawrence of Arabia" by Carl Kauba

 

This detailed artwork was sculpted by Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922).  Kauba depicted British Colonel Lawrence atop a camel that is being attacked by a ferocious lion.  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link to see additional views of Lawrence of Arabia.

We have cast Lawrence of Arabia in our own California art foundry using pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a rich patina in tones of browns and black.  Mounted onto a marble base, it stands 22" high by 19" wide.
