"The Wheel" by Pierre Le Faguays

This is a terrific original Art Deco bronze sculpture by Pierre Le Faguays (French, 1892-1962).  The Wheel depicts a semi-nude man laboring to roll a large wheel up a slope. Cast in bronze in France circa 1925, it is one of the best Deco male sculptures available.  The sculpture measures 10¾" high by 14½" wide (26 cm high x 37 cm wide).  It has an attractive cold-painted patina finish in greens and browns.  The sculpture is signed "P Le Faguays" and is also stamped "Bronze 52".   This is a fine Art Deco bronze sculpture, made to the highest standards.  We guarantee your satisfaction.
