This is a lovely Art Nouveau style bronze sculpture of a maiden carrying a water jug on her shoulder by Louis-Auguste Moreau (French, 1855-1919). Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast Maiden with Water Jug in our own California art foundry using 16 lbs. (7 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a rich traditional patina in tones of browns. It stands 17" high by 6" wide (35 cm high x 15 cm wide). The sculpture is signed by the artist on the rear of the base.
