This monumental sculpture of a mounted Indian chief was sculpted by artist Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922). Kauba was famed for his portrayals of iconic images of the American frontier, which is particularly remarkable since he never had the opportunity to view his subject matter in person. We have cast Mounted Indian Chief in our own California art foundry using pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a classic patina in tones of browns and black that enhances the beauty of the horse and the rocky landscape upon which it proudly stands. Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands 28.5" tall by 19" wide.
