This beautiful sculpture by Art Nouveau master Eugene Laurent (French, 1832-1898) depicts a semi-nude, kneeling Psyche with butterfly wings and carrying an oil lamp. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast this sculpture in our own California art foundry using pure bronze. It is finished with a classic patina in tones of brown and amber (not shown). Mounted onto a marble base, it stands 9.5" high by 7" wide by 4" deep, and is signed "E Laurent" in the bronze.
