This classic bronze sculpture by Renaissance master Giovanni da Bologna (Italian, 1529-1608) takes full advantage of the dimensionality of sculpture. The three figures corkscrew around one another in a gorgeous ballet. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast Rape of the Sabines in our own California art foundry using pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a classic patina in tones of brown. Mounted onto a black marble base, it stands a substantial 30" tall by 10" wide.
