Item No.: 115
|
The Desperado by Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922) is a masterfully designed portrayal of a cowboy and his horse plummeting off a rocky cliff, with almost nothing touching the ground. One can almost feel the wind as the man and his mount began their plummet over the edge. Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views.
We have cast The Desperado in our own California art foundry using 28 lbs. (13 kg) of pure bronze. The sculpture is finished with a traditional brown patina. Mounted onto a green marble base, it stands a substantial 25½" tall by 14" wide (65 cm high x 15 cm wide). The artist has signed "C Kauba" on the front of the bronze.
This is a detailed bronze sculpture, cast to high standards. We guarantee your satisfaction.
