"Wolf with Bone" by Charles M. Russell

 

This classic work of Frontier bronze art was originally sculpted by Charles Russell in 1908.  It carries this writing on the bottom of the bronze: "Compliments of C M Russell To Virginia Holland 1908" along with Russell's distinctive cow skull mark.  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views, and then click on any image to enlarge it.

 

We have cast Wolf with Bone in our own California art foundry using pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a classic patina in tones of brown.  The sculpture stands 6" high by 9" wide by 6" deep.  It is not mounted onto a base so that the writing on its base can be readily seen.
