"Wolf with Cub" by Thomas-Francois Cartier

 

This superb sculpture by Thomas-Francois Cartier (French, 1879-1943) depicts a mother wolf carrying her cub by the scruff of its neck across a rocky landscape.  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views. 

 

We have cast Wolf with Cub in our own California art foundry using the finest pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a gorgeous multi-colored patina.  Mounted onto a dark green marble base, it stands a substantial 21" high by 29" wide (53 cm high x 73 cm wide).  The sculpture is signed "TH CARTIER" in its bronze base.
